Midlands Community Services has provided vasectomy services since around 1999, serving patients across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. We work with local NHS services and hospitals and also welcome private enquiries.
Our experienced surgical team
Our surgeons have extensive experience of vasectomy, including:
- Dr A Ahmed – approximately 7,000 vasectomies performed as of 2026.
- Mr Harpal Matharoo – a hospital urology surgeon with decades of urological surgical experience and over 2,000 vasectomies performed.
- Dr L Sivakumar – over 1,000 vasectomies performed.
- Dr Pillai – a highly experienced surgeon.
Other experienced surgeons may also provide care within the service. Our service has been supported by Mr A Chakravarti, consultant urologist, and has worked alongside colleagues in hospital urology services.
Patient-centred care
We aim to make the process straightforward, from clear information and consent through to the procedure, recovery advice and post-vasectomy semen testing. If you have concerns or need an individual assessment, you can discuss these with our clinical team before your procedure.
Patient feedback and service audit findings help us review and improve care. We intend to share verified patient feedback here once the relevant comments and permissions have been checked.
